Computer Classes

Thanks to a generous donation by the Friends of the Bozeman Public Library, the 2nd floor Computer Lab was recently repurposed as a classroom and meeting space. That means we are offering more help, more classes, and doing it more often! All classes are in the Lab unless otherwise stated.

Excel Drop-in Help

Do you have an Excel problem you are trying to solve? Need to remember a tip or trick? Excel guru Sue Schaible answers your questions on a first come, first serve basis.

Beginner Excel

When it comes to working with data, Microsoft Excel is still the go-to software tool. Whether it's capturing customer data, building financial reports, or cataloging personal collections, Excel has a suite of powerful tools at the ready. This class covers cells, rows, columns, worksheets, formulas, AutoFill and more. No prior experience with Excel is necessary to attend. Reservations are required.

Intermediate Excel

Move beyond the basics with our 4-part Excel class. Topics covered:

+ Reviews important foundational topics
+ Use named ranges to make formulas more readable and reliable
+ Learn when and how to fix Excel errors
+ Learn functions that analyze data such as IF, SUMIF, and COUNTIF
+ And much more!

This is a 4-part class that meets twice a week for 2 weeks. Reservations are required.
